The Costa App relaunched in Autumn 2021 changing its currency from points to ‘beans’. Customers earn one bean per drink ordered, effectively making every ninth drink free. In addition if you use a reusable cup, your rewards are doubled so that every 5th drink is free.
Your Costa rewards account will also issue a piece of cake or pastry as a ‘Free Birthday Treat’ on your birthday (if you enter your DoB).

How to use the Costa Coffee Referral Code
To use the Costa Coffee code, download the App and enter the code when, during registration, you are asked if you have an invite code (see screenshot below),. The App will confirm that you will receive 5 additional bonus beans when you first use the App to make a purchase. You’ll also get an additional bean for buying your first drink, immediately giving you 6/10 beans towards your first free drink. The costa coffee app invite code is EY7J8. So, to use the offer:
- Download the App
- Register your details and add the code EY7J8 to the invite code box
- Scan your App membership code when you buy a coffee in a Costa store, to activate the 5 bonus beans.
